I love this place! The folks who work there are uniformly friendly and helpful, and the food is always delightful. I have been to The Feisty Greek (TFG to my friends and I) many times, and the consistency is impressive. Initially, I would order their "genuine gyros plate" (with homemade pork gyro meat, and including tzatziki and Greek fries in the wrap). These are indeed genuine (and yummy), but yearnings for Greek lamb led me to the lamb kabobs. Perfect, and each (if ordered as a plate) comes with very good Greek salad or other sides. I have tried the roasted lemon potatoes and also the green beans (fasolakia). The real deal! More recently, i have started ordering their shrimp kabobs, which have properly jumbo grilled shrimp, and with a side greek salad is, well, heavenly! Have I mentioned that the prices are super reasonable? And if one orders a plate, that includes not just sides or side salad, but also with a drink? The service is quick and efficient, and the patrons seem as energetic and content as the staff. Enter, place an order, find a table, and your food will be ready shortly. Definitely worth a trip!

Best lunch spot in Norwood. Have come dozens of times over the years and its just as good every time. Friendly staff, brought Greek family/friends and they loved the people and the atmosphere. The place is "lively," ie busy, but not in a bothersome way. Food is incredible, inexpensive. Great menu options and everything, I mean everything, is amazing. Baklava is our go-to dessert. Great Greek salad. Gyro wraps/plates are amazing. Authentic dinner plate options for a great price. I could keep going but theres nothing I dont suggest about this place. Pride of Norwood right here

My husband and I really enjoy the feisty greek. The food is delicious. I love the mousaka and the pastitio. They have nice salads. I enjoyed the Pappou's burger the one time I got it. The greek fries are great. Eating in the restaurant is nice enough. They offer wine and some beer. It's a counter service place with a pretty casual atmosphere. We got take out from there quite a bit when we had covid and it definitely brightened up the boring days. My one gripe with them is the plastic containers - even when it's not to go it's in plastic. =\

Wow. What an amazing little place with the best food. Everything tasted so good. Abundant portions. I was really pleasantly surprised. The service was fast and polite. Plenty of parking. The place was dated but very clean.

I had the opportunity to try an "Authentic Pork Gyro" and some Greek Fries. On the positive side: the food was solid, the portions were large, and the service was friendly and fast. Where they fell short is the execution and, therefore, the meat. One of the things that hurt the gyro was the first bite. It was all meat and bread, no sauce, no veggies. When effectively on its own, I found the pork a little tough. While pork roasting on a spit isn't the most tender of cuts, the pieces were a bit thicker than at restaurants that thinly shave the meat. The flavors were okay, not mind-blowing, but it did seem to have the essentials of salt and pepper, which fits the bill since The Feisty Greek isn't going for any Michelin stars (yet!). Where the tzatziki, tomato, and bit of onion (I would have liked more) met the meat, now we are talking! The moisture of the veggies and sauce complimented the pork very well and helped make it softer and more tender. The only thing missing was hot sauce, but I believe hot sauce goes with everything but cereal, so that's just me being me. Another note is that the couple of fries they added seemed unnecessary (though it is authentic, according to reliable sources). Having the veggies and sauce applied throughout the entire length is all it would take to go from good to great! The side of Greek fries was delicious! The fries were cooked and seasoned nicely, and you can't go wrong with feta and oregano. I also asked for some extra tzatziki sauce on the side: this stuff was unusual but good unusual. They made it with cucumber, which added delightful crispness and freshness, but curiously no herbs. So, while this was a solid experience, I can't say it is worth repeating the trip to Norwood for the gyro alone.
